Lars Trabolt
Another great backgammon player that comes from Denmark is Lars Trabolt. He is en extremely talented player and throughout his career has managed to obtain pretty good results. In 2001 he won the 13th Nordic “Wide” Open in Helsingør, Denmark. Back then he defeated a filed of 106 players and cashed a decent cash prize. In 2007 he received a massive check of $120,080 after he won the Consolation flight of the Atlantis Million. The event was held in January at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas. In 2008 he finished in the money in the Consolation event of the Paris Master & Partouche Backgammon Open 9. The same year in July he managed to obtain a fantastic performance. He enjoys to participate in backgammon tournaments that take place all over the world. In 2006 he participated in the WBF’s 3rd Caribbean Open. The tournament was held on the small island of St. Martin. In the exact same year he was seen in England at the Bristol International Festival of Backgammon.
Without a doubt that Trabolt is one of the most dedicated and serious backgammon players. On GammonLuck  the Danish player is in the ninth position.
