
Neil Kazaross is an US player who at this moment lives in the State of Illinois. Beside bing a top notch backgammon player he is also an successful stocks trader in Chicago. Throughout his backgammon career the American player has managed to obtain an impressive number of victories in live backgammon tournaments all over the world.
In the United States in the American Backgammon Tour from 1993 to 2007 has been voted overall the best player. He managed to win the tour for three times, in 1994, 1999 and 2005. In 1998 he reached the final of the U.S. Open in Dallas and in 2004 won the Georgia Backgammon Championships. One year later Kazaross ended in first position in the Championship Division of the Wisconsin State Backgammon Championships.
On the European continent in 1999 he won the British Open and cashed in the City Of Venice Tournament. Beside that he also took down a nice cash prize in the Consolations at the Monte Carlo World Championships in 2000.
In his career some of the most important battles were against the backgammon experts Charlie Russell, François Tardieu and Malcolm Davis.
